Financial Aid Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of financial aid are MBA for Executive students possibly eligible for?
MBA for Executive students are eligible for loans.

What needs to be done before students can receive financial aid?
First, students will need to complete a FAFSA for the school year they wish to receive financial aid for. After this, the Financial Aid Office will assess the student?fs financial need and award them based on their eligibility. If the student is awarded a loan, they may be required to complete a Master Promissory Note for the loan, as well as complete a loan entrance workshop. If they do not complete these, their financial aid will be withheld. If the students wish to apply for summer financial aid, they will need to complete a summer financial aid application. The application is online and typically available in April or May.

How much will students be able to receive annually in loans?
Eligible students will be able to borrow up to a total of $20,500 annually.

Will a student still be eligible for financial aid if they fail a course?
Most likely not. Students must complete all of their units to pass Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). If they do not pass SAP, it is possible to do an appeal.
