International Training and Education Programs (ITEP)

Our Mission and Goals

The mission of the International Training and Education Programs (ITEP) office is to offer management training and educational programs to executives and managers in the public and private sectors from around the world. Through these programs, ITEP promotes business cooperation and educational and cultural exchanges for the mutual interests of both the United States and other nations.

About the International Training and Education Programs (ITEP) Office

The International Training and Education Programs (ITEP) office at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) offers a one-stop resource for global management training, professional development, intercultural exchange and educational programs. ITEP is designed to host educational training programs for mid-career professionals and executives from around the world in various academic disciplines, as well as programs in U.S. culture and values, English language, business and social etiquette, organizational practices and protocol, and corporate and government culture. ITEP builds cultural and business bridges between the United States and other nations and fosters increased exchange between organizations and individuals in economic, governmental, academic, and civic sectors. To ensure the success of our programs, we work closely with our university faculty and with expert professionals in California companies and government agencies at the local, state and national levels.

Our Experience

The College of Extended Learning (CEL) at CSUSB has been involved in training government officials and professionals from around the world for more than 10 years. We offer more than 100 long- and short-term programs annually, serving almost 1,000 participants. With that kind of extensive experience, ITEP will:

  • develop market-driven educational programs for business and public sector executives
  • create strategic partnerships between CSUSB and foreign institutions for the development of educational programs and initiatives;
  • foster an understanding of history, cultures and values;
  • increase CSUSB’s visibility around the world through various educational programs.
