Testing Information
Types of tests not proctored by the Learning Center
- National exams (GRE, MCAT, etc.)
- CSU state exams (ELM, EPT, WREE, etc.)
NOTE: Contact the campus Testing Office (JB-405, ext. 5045) for the exams listed above.
Types of tests proctored by the Learning Center
- Make-up exams for students (with approval of the professor)
- Exams for self-paced courses
- Challenge exams (with approval of the academic department)
- U.S. Constitution exams (for the College of Extended Learning)
- Exams for non-CSUSB institutions (regular tests for a $30 fee and online tests, using a computer, for a $40 fee)
NOTE: Testing services are free – except for U.S. Constitution and non-CSUSB courses.
In order to offer testing that is consistent and confidential, we ask that faculty follow the procedures listed below:

Testing cover sheet for faculty. This is in PDF format. Information can be typed into the form and printed. It is for the convenience of those who are familiar with PDF files and requires Acrobat Reader 4.0 (or later). There is a plug-in that goes into your browser's plug-in folder so it opens immediately or you can download it and open it with Acrobat Reader. All others should get a copy of the testing cover sheet from their department secretaries. A cover sheet must be attached to each test by the professor. |
