REPORTS:

The Positive Effects of Tutoring on Retention (html) - (pdf)
This report shows data from eight terms that demonstrates that students who receive tutoring have a better retention rate than students who do not. It also shows that more tutoring results in an even higher retention rate.

Affects of Tutoring on Class Repetition (html) - (pdf)
This report describes groups of students from select terms divided by high school GPA, level of college math class, and ELM (Entry Level Math) score. It shows that all groups demonstrate a much lower rate of repeating classes if tutoring is received.

Tutoring Use by Subject (html) - (pdf)
This report shows the number of hours of tutoring that was delivered, divided by subject.

Higher Passing Rates with Tutoring (html) - (pdf)
This report shows data that students who receive at least five hours of tutoring (per quarter term) had over a 67% pass rate for pre-college level math compared to a pass rate of only 495 for students who did not receive tutoring. It also shows that the more tutoring, the higher the passing rate.

Use of Services by Department (html) - (pdf)
This report profiles student groups that use the services of the Learning Center. It is useful in getting individual academic departments to support the services of the Learning Center since they can see how and if their majors use those services.

Profile of Student Visits (html) - (pdf)
This report shows the use of Learning Center services, divided by subgroups that include class standing, special program students (EOP – Educational Opportunity Program), etc.
