From the following, one can see that students who received tutoring at least 7 times had over a 62% pass rate in Math 90, as compared to a pass rate of 52% for students who did not receive any tutoring. The data is from a five-year period (Summer 1998 through Spring 2003). It counted studens with a NC (no credit), W (withdrawal), or passing letter grade of C or better. The data also indicates that students pass at a higher rate as they receive more tutoring.
